How do I use SSD Utility to update my firmware?

OCZ SSD Utility is OCZ's maintenance and firmware updating software for all OCZ SSDs. It allows for updating SSDs using both the online firmware repository as well as offline updating using firmware pkg (package) files provided by OCZ Support. OCZ SSD Utility supports Windows® 8, Windows® 8.1, Windows® 10, and Linux® Fedora 22 and above, Mint 17 and above, Ubuntu® 14.04 and above.

OCZ SSD Utility requires a SSD to be connected to an internal SATA port running in AHCI mode to function correctly.

To update the firmware on your OCZ SSD using an internet connection, select the OCZ drive in the "Overview" window, navigate to "Maintenance", choose "Update from Web" and click "Update".

To update your drive using a PKG file that has been given to you by a support agent, select the OCZ drive in the "Overview" window, navigate to "Maintenance", choose "Update from File", select the PKG file provided to you by OCZ Support, click "Open" and perform "Update".
