How do I use SSD Utility's Overprovisioning feature?
Increasing the amount of unallocated NAND flash memory capacity for overprovisioning (OP) purposes increases an SSD's performance under higher workloads and helps the drive maintain itself more efficiently. If you wish to increase your drive's OP level using SSD Utility, please open it and navigate to Tuner > SSD Tuner. Here, choose the drive you wish to work on and set the OP value accordingly, and confirm the changes by pressing "Apply".
